Parents learn techniques that can be used in the home



Description: A fun, structured and encouraging environment where kids learn basic skills of throwing, catching, kicking and laughing!

Progression based approach to develop coordination, balance, gross motor skills hand eye skills.

Equipment is used that suits their bodies and coordination levels (toss a beanbag instead of a ball). Games are adapted according to their abilities.

Children are always offer encouraging words for all their efforts.

Focus: Help a child develop a sense of passion for sports and active living and begin to understand not just how but when to pass, jump, kick etc.

Description: Continued development of individual skills and pushing the boundaries of each child's ability and motor skills.

Introduction of more/regular non-competitive team play.

A variety of sports and activities include: soccer, hockey, basketball, football, rugby, tennis (racquet sports) volleyball lots of games obstacle courses, races, fun interactive games

Growing emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship and sensitivity to what kids can accomplish at their differing developmental levels -- physically, intellectually, emotionally, and socially

Age: K5-10
Class Time: 60 min
Focus: Fun and fitness for the floor hockey enthusiasts
Benefits / Skills Learned: Parents and kids learn new skills each week and get to apply them in a game

Dad's often say it’s the highlight of their week!
Description: Floor Hockey skills and drills that emphasize passing, shooting stickhandling, lifting the puck, goaltending basics, cycling the puck, 2 on 1s etc.

Kids and Parents are broken into teams. Structured enviroment makes it feel like "real deal" hockey.

Parents and kids can bring their own equipment but we have plenty to go around.

Focus: All the fun of our Summer Soccer Program for the soccer enthusiast in your home
Benefits / Skills Learned: Kids learn to grow their passion for the sport as well as hone their skills

Growing emphasis on teamwork, offensive/defensive play, sportsmanship, fair play and leadership
Description: Individual soccer skills and drills that emhphasize, trapping, passing, footwork, shooting, headers, throw-ins, trap/pull backs and goal tending.

Team skills like the "triangle" and "give and go" are applied in weekly games along with concepts of offensive and defensive play.

Growing emphasis on teamwork and sportsmanship and sensitivity to what kids can accomplish at their differing developmental levels.

Focus: For kids who love to play basketball in our multi-sports classes
Benefits / Skills Learned: Kids learn to grow their passion for the sport as well as hone their athletic skills

Growing emphasis on teamwork, offensive/defensive play, sportsmanship, fair play and leadership
Description: Individual basketball skills and drills that emhphasize dribbling, passing, shooting, layups, faking and rebounding.

As children advance, children develop their sports intelligence by learning when to employ their skills in a game.

Team skills - offensive and defensive play are highlighted.

Class: Dodgeball
Age: K6-10
Class Time: 60 min
Focus: One of our most popular activities we decided to make it a class! Fun for everyone at every skill level
Benefits / Skills Learned: Kids learn to Dodge, Duck, Dip, Dive and Dodge (lol!) as well as a host of playground games they can play at home or school

Structured environment teaches kids how to organize games, pick teams and play fairly and safely
Description: All the different versions of Dodgeball are played including – kings court, doctor dodgeball, asteroid dodgeball etc.

Other old school playground games like bump, fumble and four square are played as well.

Kids learn skills like catching, blocking and throwing strategies.

Coach-led structure helps kids the right way to play on the playground like honouring rules and mutual respect.

Kids are not allow hit above shoulders and foam balls are super safe.
