Ages: 5-8,9-11
Class Time: 60 min



  • Learn or improve skills like passing, catching, kicking and teamwork.  Learn the laws of the game, get some exercise  and have a good laugh all at the same time!

  • Kids learn to grow their passion for the sport as well as hone their skills
    Growing emphasis on teamwork, basic skills of batting, bowling and fielding, sportsmanship, fair play and leadership

  • Fun Fact: Cricket was Canada’s first national sport before Hockey and Lacrosse.

  • Cricket improves speed, agility, flexibility and reflexes and helps with increasing concentration, the ability to think strategically and to utilize decision-making skills apart from developing social, communication and leadership skills.
    Individual cricket skills and drills that teach the kids the basics of cricket – batting, bowling and fielding using specific activities to hone footwork, ball striking, catching and ground fielding and ability to bowl fast or slow (spin).

  • Team drills and skill will be applied in daily games along with concepts of offensive and defensive play.

  • Cricket skills are interlinked with other sports as it offers the chance for kids to develop cardio, stamina, hand-eye coordination, balance, agility in footwork and dexterity for motor skills which are transferable to other sports.

  • At Kids Sports, we are excited to offer cricket to our young athletes! Our staff are trained in the fundamentals of cricket so your child can learn the basics as well as the more advanced skills. 
  • We include cricket in our multi-sport curriculum, providing fun and engaging activities for kids to build their confidence and develop their skills.
